Genesis 1:27 says,

"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."

What does it mean to be created in the image of God? It means that we have the potential to reflect God's love, creativity, and compassion in the world. It means that we are valuable and worthy of respect, regardless of our race, gender, nationality, or socioeconomic status.
